Croydon rapper Jords has not only harnessed the themes of diaspora and his translation of the Black British experience, but he’s employed these to explore his wants, needs and morals unapologetically. From his first release in 2016, through the tender 2020 project ‘Almost An Adult’ and 2022’s ‘Swings And Roundabouts’ EP, right up to the release of his awaited debut album ‘Dirt In The Diamond’, growth and exploration remains at the very heart of Jords’ artistry, with a core focus on celebrating Black culture in full technicolour.
